Quick and Easy DIY Ring Light under $30

Anyone need to take better pictures? I have found out that lighting is KEY when taking pictures and if you don't have the right lighting, the picture just isn't right. Check out my older posts and you'll see what I mean! I have actually been stressing because of these pictures lately but now I can relax because I have this light.

It's super simple and cheaper than buying an actual ring light because those can cost around $100-$400. I don't know about you, but I don't have that much extra money to pony up when starting a new venture! Good news, I found this light ring tutorial and better news is that I had half of these things in my house already!

What you'll need:

(12) 6" Pieces of Aluminum Foil
Packaging Tape
Scissors
Remote control (optional)

I got mostly everything from Amazon because I am a prime member and got free- two day shipping. I already had packing tape, and aluminum foil. If you don't have these, they will be extra in the cost to make this ring light.

First you'll start by getting 12 pieces of aluminum foil. About 6 inch pieces.

You'll need to wrap your wreath in the foil, shiny side out. Yes, there is a dull side and a shiny side. You'll wrap the entire thing in foil. I used all of my 6" pieces to fully cover it.

Next it's time to add the lights! You will use your packing tape to start your line of lights. Now begin wrapping the lights around the outside of your wreath. You'll have just enough to wrap around 4 times. I also used more packing tape to secure the LED string lights in place.

This is what it will look like when it's completed! Plug it into your adapter and your ready to use it. Next I'll be looking for a way to take this with me! ha

Testing it out and it is pretty amazing!
