The "Oh Sh*t" Hangover Kit

So I've told you that I'm going to be hosting a Frugal Bachelorette Party today and I couldn't wait to get started. I saw this and knew that I wanted to make some of these "Oh Sh*t" kits!

I went all over the internet browsing on where to get the bags and what to put in them. I used every resource I had to come up with these cute frugal kits! They were so easy and cheap to make. I got everything I needed from Walmart and the Dollar Tree! (Or I already had it)

What you'll need  ;

For the bag-
Cinch sacks
Card stock
Hole puncher
Sharp Marker (or Printer)

For inside the bag-
Chap stick
Bobby pins

Then your done!

Weekly Wishes

It's Tuesday!!!!

Last Week's goals;

5. CLEAN MY CAR & GET OIL CHANGED - Josiah pre-washed my car for me. I say pre-wash because I went after him with a dry towel and it was fully black. So needless to say I can probably count these as if I didn't do them.

I know that I was very slack as far as my goals last week. I'm hoping to get better. I need a better schedule. It isn't very easy when you aren't working the same shifts every week.

this week's goals;

1. WORK OUT 2X - I really am going tonight then again on Thursday morning. HA
2. MAKE 31 PACKETS TO HAND OUT - I'm going to be a bother to everyone, and hand these out to random people... because I have to be more bold!
3. FINISH PLANNING AND BLOG POSTS FOR BACHELORETTE PARTY - I am having too much fun planning this already! lol
4. GO TO BUSCH GARDENS - Well Josiah's pre-school pass will expire if I don't redeem it this week.. sooooo I plan on going and having fun!
5. PLANT TOMATOES! - They finally have about 4-6 leaves on them so I can now put them in the ground!

It's already going to be a busy week. what are your goals?

DIY Cloth Wipes

Well if you didn't know, I cloth diaper and I wanted to share my way of making  baby (cloth) wipes.

We recently just switched to cloth wipes after running out of regular wipes. Along with saving money, this is also helping me know what's touching my babies skin, so she won't get irritated and all that good stuff.

What you'll need;

2 cups water; either distilled water or boiled water that has been cooled
1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
1 squirt Baby Soap
1 drop of tea tree oil (not necessary if using a wipes warmer)
cloth wipes; I made about 30 +
Container OR Wipe Warmer

Boil your water and let it cool a little.

Then combine everything in the pot. If you water is cold the coconut oil will not melt, so you'll want to make sure that the water is still warm.

Stir to make sure the coconut oil is fully melted.

Roll or fold the wipes and store in either a wipe warmer or wipe container.

Then pour the mixture over the wipes.

and BAM! Now I just clean them every other day with my diapers and were good to go! The best part about these wipes are they are so durable! I onyl use ONE wipe during a diaper change. YES EVEN POOPY ONES!

I love them !

Cute Little Bird Feeders

The other day we made some cut little bird feeders and I thought I would share with you!

What you'll need;

toilet paper rolls
peanut butter
wild bird food
butter knife or spoon (if your letting your kids do this part)
a skewer
hole puncher
pipe cleaners

(legos optional LOL) First your going to start with punching holes in the toilet paper rolls at the very top across from each other.

Then you pick a pipe cleaner to stick in each end and bend up so it will stay in place so

Next you take your skewer and go straight through the bottom of the toilet paper tube (this is the part the birds sit on) I don't have a picture of this step because I did it instead of letting him do it.

Then you grab your knife (or if your child is making one, the spoon) and smear on the peanut butter.

Take out the skewer and roll it in the bird feed, replace the skewer and your all done!

The cutest little bird feeder for summer!

Weekly Wishes

Hello friends!!! I Can't believe I'm posting on a Monday!

Well since I worked all weekend and had a yard sale in the mornings, I don't have much to tell you about!

Last Week's goals

1. WORK OUT 2X - yeah I'm not going to talk about it. =( LOL I PROMISE I WILL THIS WEEK!
2. GET MY PASS/ GO TO BUSCH GARDENS - so let me tell you that the pass they gave us was only for one damn day. what am I going to do with that?! I guess I'll have to get my pass sometime in June or July.
3. FINISH THE GARDEN - I finally finished! I'm just waiting on my tomatoes to grow more leaves and they will be all set!
4. MAKE A TUTU FOR MY NIECES 1ST BIRTHDAY - It was so cute on her! I'm just glad it was done, my fingers hurt hahaha

5. "CLOCK IN" TO 31 FOR AT LEAST 30 TO 1 HOUR A DAY - Yes I did, not as long as I'd hoped for but I will try again this week!

This Week's goals;

1. WORK OUT 2X - there's no excuse I'm off three days -_-
2. CLOCK IN TO 31 AT LEAST 30 MINUTES A DAY - Like I said, I need to get my business up, and even just talking about the bags to my friends..I'm hoping to raise someones eyes brows. Also trying talk to people at the hotel more about the bags! and hand out my mini catalogs!~
3. THINK MORE ABOUT STARTING A SEWING BUSINESS - Yes I'm aware that having three jobs is going to be a lot. I don't plan on making a lot of money off sewing in the next few months, I just want to sew. period. Making things for my baby is all fun but I want other people to enjoy my stuff as well. AND I want to make a little more income this summer. Doesn't hurt! I was thinking about the name ... "Sprinkles & Things Boutique" How does that sound?!
4. FIND TIME TO GO TO BUSCH GARDENS - I am hoping that Amillie is better by this week. She has had a little cold and coughing. She is getting better but I want it all gone before letting her outside for a long period of time!
5. CLEAN MY CAR & GET OIL CHANGED - I haven't even checked my oil since I came back from Florida :| Yeah, Let's hope my engine doesn't burn up! ahhhh!!! lol

Keep up with me & Let me know your here!

Paper Plate ring toss

With summer fast approaching I needed to find a way to get Josiah off the GAME and out of the house! So I figured I would let him make something I found on pinterest a months weeks back.

You all know how I love to re-use my toilet paper tubes, and saving money. This game is quick fun and most of all....easy.

What you'll need;
Paper Plates
Paper towel tube
Duck tape

Cut the center from some paper plates to use as your 'rings'. I started the hole for Josiah and then I let him follow the circle around.

Next you paint the plates. We had finger paint around the house so that worked perfectly.

Once those dry you'll have your "rings" made.

Now to make the stand I just cut slits in the bottom of the cardboard tube and flattened the ends, then taped it to the reverse side of a plate so it would stand up.

Then have fun! I told you it was easy and cheap

Weekly Wishes

Late again but it's that time! I guess you can say I start my weeks on Wednesday because I ALWAYS have Monday and Tuesday's off work and I really do start my work week on a Wednesday.
Anyways , Happy Hump Day everyone!

Last week's wishes;

1. STOP STRESSING -  I really have not been stressing about anything. I am still learning how to control it.
2. WORK OUT 2 TIMES -  Well I didn't work out, but you count gardening as an exercise right? I mean I am sore!
3. WORK ON AT LEAST ONE CRAFT & BLOG ABOUT IT - I did not do this, but I plan on having some  summer crafts soon, Josiah is feeling better and it's gotten real nice outside!
4. SEW OR AT LEAST CUT OUT THE PATTERN TO ANOTHER DRESS FOR MY FRIENDS - I did this and cut out two more for Amillie! PLUS made about 10 bibs, some to donate, some to sell at our yard sale and some to keep!

5. DO NOT SPEND ANY MORE MONEY - well I couldn't help it. needless to say, I don't have any money til next Friday which is payday =( BUT this time I really didn't do anything except pay my bills!

This week;

1. WORK OUT 2X - I keep talking about how I'm wasting my money, well I sure am not going to the gym that I pay $40 a month for! Some days I feel like I don't care to go or how I look and other days I'm like "I can't fit anything and I'm so fat !" I need to get it together. lol
2. GET MY PASS/ GO TO BUSCH GARDENS - this technically could be my workout! That park is a long walk and chasing after Josiah is enough in itself! I really hope that he rides something this year and isn't scared of everything. Although lately he has been doing things he normally wouldn't do. We will see!
3. FINISH THE GARDEN - I have so many plants, uhh like I really hope they all work out and grow something! LOL
4. MAKE A TUTU FOR MY NIECES 1ST BIRTHDAY - I'm super excited to try this for her and I can't believe she is already one!
5. "CLOCK IN" TO 31 FOR AT LEAST 30 TO 1 HOUR A DAY - I need to start getting my name out there, I want to be better at meeting new people and having parties. I STILL have yet to have even one party. crazy right?! I know . I am determined to get better and be better!

What are you goals this week?

Keep up with me & Let me know your here!
