So before I let you in on the review, I want to go into a detail about my hair history!

I used to go a whole week without washing my hair and then I turn 29, had two kids, diet changed and I died my hair (probably with something I shouldn't have in March of this year) so It's been every other day I have had to wash my hair because it had gotten greasy so bad. So bad to the point I got migraines from my head being greasy.

I have been using Monat now for about 3 months. I started out using the Revive Shampoo, and when that didn't work within two weeks I switched to Monat Black. A complete 2 n 1 system that cleanses and conditions at the same time. Although this product was meant for men, I found a lot of women use it and love it! So after about a month, I noticed I still had some dandruff patches, but I found out that your hair is actually going through a detox. Have you heard of people who go through a sugar detox? Or when they give up smoking, or alcohol and their body has to go through a detox? Maybe not on the same level, but that's what your hair does.

Here are the directions that I follow:
- Apply a generous amount to wet hair.

You may think that washing my hair three times in one shower session is crazy but it works!! I haven't used much more then I normally would, because it's not a lathering shampoo.
