5 Reasons I'm Keeping My Blog Name

I found this like two months ago over at Never The Same Spice. I fell in love instantly! I'm going to use her exact answers. Because, well... they fit for me too! 

1. It still applies - Ever since I started my blog, it's been about my manicures along with other things. I'm just adding pregnancy, new baby and fitness into my blogging experience! Extra Sprinkles has a lot of different meaning....that could be the extra things going on in my busy life.

2. I haven't thought of anything better - I have also tried! I think this name is very, very unique. (especially when my Facebook name is .. Manicures & Extra Sprinkes) HAHA I can't change it people! I have tried everything!

3. There is still some (manicures) - I will always have a love for nail polish. I Just can't do them as often as I use to! I think that is perfectly fine.

4. It's a hassle - MAN! I have thought about this reason many times. And I honestly just can't grasp the thought around my head. There are so many steps involved in changing a blog name, it's ridiculous! And honestly even keeping followers now is hard enough as it is.. I would like to think you are here for more then just giveaways.

5. I just don't wanna - It's really just too much of a hassle! ^_^ It's my unique name, and I don't want to change it. I love it.

Baby Bump Hump Day {36 weeks}

Baby is size of a Honeydew!!

Symptoms
What don't I have. I think the only thing I don't have are kankles. I can't wait!  :| Right now the big thing is Heartburn. 

Sleeping
There's still no sleep. I wake up to go to the bathroom at 3:30 am, then I can't go back to sleep for at least another 30 minutes. 

Cravings
I am still just craving everything. I mean obviously not salads right now though. For some reason they just sound so GROSS! Actually been craving cereal, but of course this is one thing that gives me heartburn! 

Maternity Clothes
 I bought two new pair of tights! NOT maternity, but they are extra large. =/ At least they fit right now and until I lose my baby weight! And they a cute! (totally a plus)

Weight gain
 I am at --- ( I will update tomorrow morning! ooops!)

Exercising
 Def not working out. and I probably won't until she gets here. 

Stretch Marks
 I'm pretty sure I have new ones. But WHATEVER I am still downing myself in oil and lotion... no matter what kind. I'm just lathering up in everything. I heard that keeping your body moisturized will help! Since I haven't gotten any more Bio Oil or Itworks cream.

Movement
 She is still moving all the time. And when she does BOY she is beating me up! She stretches and I feel like my rib is going to collapse and she is going to come out of my stomach!!!! 

Labor Signs
 I don't think I have had any yet. I am currently getting all the guesses on when baby girl will show her face!

Gender
 We found out HERE what we were having! & I'm still so excited about it!

Baby Names 
 So I am getting the hang of Amiliana. And I think that may her name. Her nick name for me will still be Millie or Amillie. It's NOT definite BUT its likely. 

Belly button in or out?
 Still in. for right now

Rings on or off?

 My rings are still on, but I have noticed swelling..

Nursery
 I am still working on this, I am going to just have to buy what I need for storage, and get this done. I am waiting on her crib bedding ( Lindsey bought it for me!!) & I also need to still get my sewing machine. =|

(By the way, this is not all her shoes... only half hahahahaha)

Doc Appointment

 I had another doctor appointment Monday. Everything was normal, her heart rate was at 147. I have been a little sick this weekend. And I was taking Tylenol Cold & Flu and now I feel a little better!

Just say Yes to Influenster!

Baby Girl's Diaper Bag

BABY GIRL'S DIAPER BAG

I have this bag all ready to go! Waiting in her crib, for us to leave! 

1. The Car Seat 
2. Diapers/Wipes - Since I'm still on the fence about diapers and cloth diapers I am bringing both! 
3. 2 sleepers / 2 outfits and 1 going home outfit - I will be sure to have newborn and 0-3 months because you never know how big or small she will be! Then also the going home outfit, was picked out by Grandma. 
4. Blankets/ Burp Clothes - Blankets!! since it'll be real cold outside/ I will also be using these as burp clothes (There are four and I won't use one for BOTH LOL)
5. A Bib 
6. A Pacifier - I really don't want one for her, but I WILL pack it. 
7. Swaddle blankets
8. Socks, Hat and Gloves; since it's cold outside!

The only thing I packed for Josiah was an outfit to go home in.. That's because most of the time, hospitals give you everything you need. During the cold months they give your baby hats and receiving blankets. They usually provide enough newborn diapers for the three days you stay. And they also give you a few shirts for the baby.

We will see!

This weekend I...

GOT ALL MY SHHHH DONE!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT LOL

Today my baby turned 5!!! I can't believe it!!!!!

Last week's Wishes;

3. GET READY FOR JOSIAH'S BIRTHDAY PARTY! 

I went to the same Etsy Shop that I went to for my Baby Sprinkle. This time, sine we had kids handling the masks, I printed them out on better paper ! ^_^

4. GET LAYAWAY AT K-MART - I told myself I wasn't going to spend that much money this year. BUT I did. I spent about 300. And I am still not done shopping.. Black Friday is right around the corner!! :\ 

5. GET READY FOR THE SPRING PRODUCT PREMIERE FOR THIRTY-ONE!! I am SUPER excited for Spring! I really need to get my goal of 1200 in sales from December 1st til 15th!! 

6. GROCERY SHOPPING FOR THANKS GIVING!! - I got this partially done. So I will add this again. lol

I have been on my toes getting everything done! Aren't you proud?!

This Week's Goals; 

1. CHRISTMAS WISH LIST - I know I'm old, but I want to have a Christmas list - being the only child has it's perks! plus it'll be something to blog about!! hahaha

2. GET HOSTESS PACKET OUT// & MAKE THIRTY-ONE CLIP BOARDS -  I have my REAL first party, at the end of the month. WHEW Yes I had one before but my friend Taylor was the only one to show up. And now she wants to have one. Hopefully a few people will show this time and actually buy something!! I just want to make the clip boards because they were cute. If I don't get to them I won't even be mad!

3. GET MY HOSPITAL BAG READY

Sprinkled with Love Photo Booth

(Today is Josiah's 5th birthday party, and I will have one of these for them to take pictures with, I will send pictures to my Instagram of course! )

I had a DIY Photo Booth and now that I have found this I will try to have one at EVERY EVENT! I loved the idea and it's really just cheap entertainment!

I went on a world wide web search (google) and this was the cheapest/best design that I found! Over at Happy Fiesta Designs, she has more then just the baby shower props. A little bit of everything! You can check her out here.

I really wanted this set up to be a little different as far as where the streamer (I wanted more) and banner (I wanted lower) & then also furniture moved out of the way....... but I was in a time crunch and I couldn't get everything perfect! LOL

How to make your own confetti balloons, here.

I was going to use the stand and my camera to take pictures... I forgot both at home. So I'm just lucky my friend had her Nikon!!  =) These are the best I got for ya! 

I plan on making one of these for Josiah's Birthday party today, I can only imagine how cute the kids are gona be!! I can't wait!

Easy Confetti Filled Balloons!

I had a couple people ask me how I made these beauties! Everyone thought it was a great idea!


What you'll need; 

Tissue paper
Scissors
Clear balloons

All you'll need to do is have a handful of cut tissue paper and stick it all the way into the balloon. I had someone help me hold the balloon open, then we took them to Farm Fresh and had them filled up! 

It's that easy!

I don't know if it's because I used regular balloons, or because they were filled with the tissue paper, they didn't last long. These last for about 12 hours. So if you plan on making them, I would fill them with helium the day of the party!

Gift Guide for a 5 year old

Since Josiah's 5th Birthday is right around the corner (Monday November 17th) I've decided to show you a little of his wish list, and things I may buy him for his birthday AND Christmas! 

1. Razor A Kick Scooter //$27.72 @ Walmart - I think this is perfect for the summer time, for him to not be stuck in the house playing video games! Instead get out and enjoy the breeze!!
2. TMNT Stretchkins® //29.95 @ Stretchkins.com- This is something 
3. LEGO Super Heroes Batman: Man-Bat Attack Play Set //$16.00 @ Walmart - He told me no more Lego's after this set. I will let yo know he follows along with that! 
4. Magneatos™ Jumbo - 36 pieces //$39.95 @ Barnes & Noble - This is also something he saw on T.V. and said that he wanted. To be honest, I want him to get into this kind of stuff, rather then the little Lego pieces. I'm not sure how long this will keep his interest but I'm hoping it will for 40 bucks!
5. As Seen on TV Bright Eyes Blanket, Duck //$19.99 @ Walmart- He saw this again.. on T.V. He loves anything that has a light at the end, on it, or in it. So the fact that this is like a night light, I will be getting this for him! 
6. VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch //#49.96 @ Walmart - 

Of course there are more things he asked for, and some things I got him that aren't on this list. The GOOD thing about this list, is everything is under $50, and it's all around the corner. I know that he isn't picky at all.. BUT he WILL recognize what we didn't get him. He is very spoiled and I need to figure out how to teach him the value of a dollar. That may sound mean, or stupid but I do!

DIY Scrapbook Clothes Pins

I made these clothes pins specially for my Baby Sprinkle last month! 

I know everyone knows this game! "Don't Say Baby"
Well the rules are easy, you can't say the word "baby" the whole baby shower or any one can take your clothes pin! 

For this project you will only need a few things! 

Clothes pins

Scrapbook paper

Scissors

Mod Podge

I picked up some dollar store clothespins and found some scrapbook paper I had laying around and grabbed my Mod Podge.

I turned the scrapbook paper around and drew myself some outlines so that I could cut the scrapbook paper to fit over the top of the clothespin.


Then brush a light layer Mod Podge onto the clothespins and put the scrapbook paper on top.

Let dry and.... VOILA! 

*now unfortunately I didn't even get to use them at my Baby Sprinkle, because I left them at home in all the craziness!!!!*

My Baby Sprinkle PHOTOBOMB

I finally got the pictures ya'll! 

I won't bore you with EVERY one of them. BUT I will most majority!!! Sorry in advance for the photo{BOMB}

So let me tell you how this day went! 

When I posted my Baby Sprinkle Ideas. I never thought that it was going to be this hard and that much time to throw my own baby shower!!!! 

I literally did everything last minute though and I really regret doing that. It was a lot more difficult because I threw it at my cousins hour instead of my house! If it was at my house, things would have gotten done the night before. At least some of it but I did NOTHING. 

So I started off my day at 10 am, cutting the tissue paper to fill the balloons.. Joe helped hold the balloons open for me to put the "confetti" in. Also packing up my moms truck, with everything we had to bring. That took about an hour. I had to drop Joe off which took about 30 minutes. Then I went to Office max and printed out my printables. WHICH should have been done a week ago, I don't even know how I procrastinated that long on something THAT important. 

It was around 12:30 PM when I got to my cousins house, while waiting for my mom to come (She was filling balloons at Food Lion, which BTW I don't recommend It ended up being like 60 dollars. I told her to go to Farm Fresh BUT she says I didn't tell her) ANYWAYS while I'm waiting for her to get there, I cut out my printable banner, cup cake toppers and etc. I did have help from my nieces who were nice enough to cut out HALF of my Baby Shower Photobooth Props LOL. Yes, 20 PAGES of props and they only cut out HALF. 

My cousin got to baking and melting and cutting veggies, and my friend Lindsey started setting up. I realized I left some things at home and also didn't have enough of food. While my mom went home to get her home made dip and the ice cream in the freezer and Lindsey went to the store for more food, I was still trying to get my streamers cut, balloons in the right place, my banner in the right place, 'Thank You' jars filled, and my table set up the way I wanted it.

It started getting late and I started freaking out because 3 o'clock came REALLY fast. The chocolate for my pretzels and wafers weren't melting, the hotdogs weren't done, and neither was the photobooth set up. AND at this point, I had realized I didn't print ANY of the GAMES and I left my DIY Clothespins at home ALONG with my ICE CUBE TRAY with the babies in it!!!!!

CAN WE SAY OMG ... Yeah I may have cried a little.

ALSO realizing that I didn't invite majority of his family (I did on facebook but his mother and sister in law doesn't have a facebook) and they probably wouldn't have shown up this late of invitation. I sucked at life at this point. 

It was 3:30 and my first guest showed up. It was my long time friend Nakita and her mom! I was still running around like a chicken with my head cut off, not even knowing what to do first. LOL A few more people came, I started to relax... knowing I had a SHIT ton of other things to do. I just kind of gave up at that point. Everything that had been done was good enough. 

Did I over- spend? YES ! Did I enjoy myself? YES ! In the craziness of it all.....

        I WOULD SOOOO DO IT AGAIN! ^_^
