Josiah's Big Brother Bag

I wanted Josiah to not feel some type of way when baby girl gets here. I know a lot of the attention will be on her, and he has been the only kid for 5 years now. Josiah does NOT like change. He doesn't take it to well either. 

So I made him a "Big Brother Bag" and brought it to the hospital along with My Hospital Bag{s}. Mainly for when everyone is visiting our baby girl, this bag is intended to keep Josiah busy, so he won't be jealous or bored. 

In the bag I have a couple of things; 

• Something for him to snack on, and of course something sweet. 
• A book.
• His new "Big Brother" shirt.
• A Coloring book and markers.
• Some wash clothes (his favorite).
• A buzz light year Puzzle.
• Play Dough.

Have you done something like this for your kid/kids? Josiah loved it! He played as long as he could before his attention span took over! 

He loves his little sister but one of my next posts will be about his jealousy... dun dun dun

DIY Chocolate Body Scrub

I have a thing for "Do It Yourself" I recently came across a bunch of pampering DIY's on Pinterest. This chocolate body scrub is to die for! It leaves you smelling like chocolate and who can resist chocolate?!

What you'll need;

1 cup raw cane sugar
1 cup white sugar 
2 Tbsp. cocoa baking powder
up to 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
1/4 cup baby oil
1 tsp. vanilla

First add the sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl
Then add the oils and vanilla. Stir until the ingredients have been fully mixed to create a paste to your liking! 

I have made lemon body scrub that I still use to this day! Check it out, and tell me what you think! I think it's the perfect Christmas gift ;) hint hint!!!

Late post/ Weekly Wishes & Weekend Shenanigans

Well I didn't get to have this up Monday, I didn't even have it planned out. oops 

it's NOW Thursday night.... whomp!

Turns out not having a job makes you lazy. That and being nine months pregnant. lol who knew! So I'm late on this and hopefully I'll still be able to link up.

1. PICK UP THINGS FOR "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" FROM MY JOB  
2. MAKE CANDIES FOR "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" 
3. ORDER MY THIRTY-ONE SPRING CATALOGS / AND THE ADD-ON KIT! - I even already got it in mail!! Super excited to share the new catalog with everyone.

4. GET JOSIAH'S CHRISTMAS CARDS MADE AND SENT OUT BY FRIDAY
5. START WALKING MORE 
6. DO ONE CHRISTMAS CRAFT 
7. GET BLOG POSTS OUT BY SUNDAY FOR ELF ON THE SHELF!!!- It didn't happen on Sunday, but I got it out! =)
8. WORK OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE AT LEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK
9. GET THINGS FOR FRIENDS CHRISTMAS PRESENTS TOGETHER

I can't even believe I got half of this done to be honest!!! haha

This weeks wishes;

1. PRACTICE CLOTH DIAPERING - As much as I want to do this full time, I already know it's not going to work out. Only because -- I live with my mom and she is already against the cloth, then talking about me using the washer every other day, she isn't very happy about that part either. I have a baby that is 3 months old in my mom's daycare.

2. FINISH CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR FRIENDS - I actually made everything now it's time to pack it and wrap it! :P here is a little sample! 

3. FINISH WRAPPING MY MOM'S, ROBERT'S AND JOE'S PRESENTS

4. GET READY FOR MY VENDOR EVENT TOMORROW! - I'm so nervous! It'll be my first time in front of people and I don't have any cash and carry, so I'll make it like a raffle and get a bunch of people emails and phone numbers hopefully!!! 

5. GET READY FOR MY FIRST PARTY - My friend Christy is kind of late in the game (LOL) but wants to host a party at her house this weekend. It was last minute so I'm not expecting a lot from it either. BUT It's always worth a try!!! And if it doesn't work out I will show her the new catalog and get her to host another party in January!!! 


This weekend I ....

We had Breakfast with Santa. I can't wait to see the picture of me and Josiah with Santa. BECAUSE he was terrified and I HAD to get in the picture with him. oh well! LOL I did finish the candies for event, I probably had about 25-30 boxes worth. I would write a separate post, but honestly I probably wouldn't get to finishing it. 

We went to our tree lighting event. Josiah didn't complain too much and hide like a little baby this year, but we also left the stroller at home! Your five dude, SUCK IT UP!! hahaha

We finally got around to making a gingerbread house... Josiah basically decorated it by himself. I just helped a little with the icing, ya know.

It's time to get out! *39 Weeks*

I am 39 weeks and it's time for her to get out!!!

I've gotten a few guesses from loved ones. It was fun to see when they though baby girl would get here. I was kinda hoping she would come early, but it looks like she is going to right on time or induced as a Christmas baby!!!!

Baby is size of a Mini Watermelon! 

Symptoms

 Well heartburn is the most common this week. That and swelling for sure! 

Sleeping

 Tossing and turning, still using the bathroom eight times a night. 

Cravings

 Craving anything fried. AND Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.

Maternity Clothes
 Nothing new, Just hoping I fit some regular clothes again when she does come!

Weight gain
 I can't even believe I'm at 190! ahhhhh

Exercising
 Def not working out. and I probably won't until she gets here.

Stretch Marks
 Right now I an't even think about what new stretch marks I have! I'm just lathering up with lotion every chance I get. ;)

Movement
 Of course nothing has changed here! She is still moving around and hurting me! I love it when I can see her moving!! The BEST thing ever!!! 

Labor Signs
 Contractions are still daily but not close to each other.

Gender
 We found out HERE what we were having! & I'm still so excited about it!

Baby Names 
 I think I have the name saved. Amiliana. There. That's it. I will tell everyone on facebook when she gets here ;) BUT now we're stuck on a middle name. I can't think of anything! Suggestions? 

Belly button in or out?
 I've been saying "still in" for the past few weeks, but I think it's like and innie outtie lol... it's really looks like I don't have a belly button at all. 

Rings on or off?

 My rings are OFF now, I had to take them off two weeks ago.

Nursery
 I basically have everything done. I just need to know how big she is going to be so I can organize clothes!! I guess I'll never really know since she will grow at her own pace. 

Doc Appointment

 I had a doctors appointment this Monday, with an ultrasound! ^_^ I went in to my normal appointment. I got to see my baby!!

I got checked for dilation again this week. I'm still at 2cm. Wishful thinking that she would come early, right! Well before that, I told her that I was really swollen and she checked my blood pressure again. She told me that she called labor and delivery, told them that I would be in to get checked. She said that my blood level had elevated and I needed to be watched. 

GREAT! I had to go into labor and delivery for a few hours. 

BUT I went home that same day, with no baby.

#ElfOnTheShelf

He's baaaaaaack!!

We brought him back this year on the 30th of November.

I will post weekly where we find him, because honestly posting everyday right about now would not happen LOL.

At first he was afraid of the elf when we bought him. He was afraid to go into the room we kept him. When we brought him back, I read him the note and explained to him what the elf does and that he had to name him. He had watched the movie and decided to name him Chippy. LOL original right?! That morning we revealed him, didn't believe that the elf was real.

We caught him shopping for Cyber Monday!!! & of course what better way to shop then Thirty-One?! It didn't take him long but Josiah started to believe real fast that he was real. Chippy even left him a note that said "If your not a good boy, I can't keep shopping" hahahaha

I believe this is the day he really got into it! He saw this and was so excited LOL 

I was lazy this night, BUT that day.... a daycare kid (from my mom's daycare) touched the elf and brought him to Josiah. He FREAKED OUT! He really started to cry and everything. I had to come up with something to make him get better so I put the first aid kit next to him and when Josiah left the room, he went back to the North Pole. 

I got a new printer so I guess Chippy figured he would try it out! 

Saint Nicholas came !!!! 

Tonight we finally made the gingerbread house! 

And now, I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow, any ideas?! There are soooo many I want to do but I'm too lazy! :P

Baby Bump Hump Day {38 Weeks!!!}

Baby is size of a Celery Bunch (LOL)

SymptomsLast time I mentioned I had every symptom except kankles.... well... you guessed right, I have that too now. 

Sleeping
 Still none, getting up every hour to use the bathroom.

Cravings
 Craving anything fried.

Maternity Clothes
 I haven't bought anything new maternity, but last week was black Friday so I bought two pair of stretch pants , that I knew would fit after she arrives!

Weight gain
 I'm embarrassed to say, but I knew it would happen. I'm gaining 2 pounds a week. I'm at 186 right now! 

Exercising
 Def not working out. and I probably won't until she gets here. 

Stretch Marks
 Right now I an't even think about what new stretch marks I have! I'm just lathering up every chance I get, with whatever lotions I have ;)

Movement
 Of course nothing has changed here! She is still moving around and hurting me! I love it when I can see her moving!! The BEST thing ever!!!

 So I am getting the hang of Amiliana. And I think that may her name. Her nick name for me will still be Millie or Amillie. It's NOT definite BUT its likely.

Nursery
 I am still working on this, I am going to just have to buy what I need for storage, and get this done. I've already organized her clothes by months. I also got her bed set and mobile just not set up yet! I will have it done by next week though! 

Doc Appointment

 I had another doctor appointment Monday. Her heart rate was at 165! whew!!! I actually had a different doctor come in and see me. They measured my stomach to be 30-34CM which they thought (and I thought) was kind of small for where I should be in my pregnancy. So she ordered an ultrasound for the next time I go in (Monday) I'll be writing about my 39th week of pregnancy too, If I make it that far. She checked if I was dilated and I was 2cm. Doesn't really mean anything unless I'm more dilated next appointment. She told me that she could come at any time and I'm just so nervous but READY for her to come out !!

1. GET BLOG POSTS SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER/ ASK PEOPLE TO TAKE OVER MY BLOG FOR SOME DAYS - I haven't even been on my blog for a couple days! I really hope that not having a job, won't stop me from blogging! 

2. GET CANDY MADE FOR JOSIAH'S "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" - Yeah, this didn't happen lol

3. GET DONATION FROM WORK FOR "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" - He was out of town, I will have to pick them up this week !

4. GET GUESSES ON WHEN BABY GIRL WILL BE HERE & WRITE A POST - I have some already and I am loving the guesses! hehe

5. DON'T SPEND TOO MUCH ON BLACK FRIDAY - I did, I bought my camera!

6. START ON CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FOR FRIENDS - I actually did start, but I've changed my mind for some of my friends and decided to go with Mint only instead of Chocolate.


This week's Wishes;

1. PICK UP THINGS FOR "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" FROM MY JOB - He was out of town this weekend, so I will have to pick this up and remind him of my weeks vacation pay! 

2. MAKE CANDIES FOR "BREAKFAST WITH SANTA" - Well, It's this Saturday, and I'll tell you what I am not going to stress about this things, BUT I will try to get as many done as I can. 

3. ORDER MY THIRTY-ONE SPRING CATALOGS / AND THE ADD-ON KIT! - I'm not going to order much since I feel like I'm wasting money and not making it!!! I am hoping for a better Spring then this fall! 

4. GET JOSIAH'S CHRISTMAS CARDS MADE AND SENT OUT BY FRIDAY - After fighting with him yesterday, he must of woke up on the good side of the bed and he actually wanted to take pictures this morning! 

5. START WALKING MORE - I need to get this baby out!!! What are some other ways to get baby out? LOL

6. DO ONE CHRISTMAS CRAFT - Maybe I can get one with the kids done this week.

7. GET BLOG POSTS OUT BY SUNDAY FOR ELF ON THE SHELF!!! - He's BACK!!


8. WORK OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE AT LEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK - I am hoping to get of the house and start working on Thirty-One and blogging with no distractions.. (because you know my mom runs a daycare and there's always something going on around here)

9. GET THINGS FOR FRIENDS CHRISTMAS PRESENTS TOGETHER -  I need sugar and more coconut oil. I wasn't hoping to spend too much more money. But I want to blog about it and give it to my friends! 


This past week has been very eventful, I feel like I am super stressed out because baby girl will make her appearance in or about 2 weeks!!!  I don't have her closet/clothes organized like I want them. Hopefully not having to stop and go to work 8 hour shifts every day will help me get my shit done! 

My Thirty-One business isn't doing as well as I had hoped for the month of December!

Then on top of that, I have my 5 year old acting out.  He has his bad days and semi-good days, I just hope that it will more of those semi good days then bad days!!! :\\\
