DIY Bubbles

Last year I had a lot of recipes for bubbles. Even spent a lot of money on the store brand. Most of them never worked out and of course didn't last very long at all. Now that Josiah is old enough to know how to conserve (well kind of), I figured making a lot of this would go a long way.

We are on one week now! =)

What you'll need:

2 cups dish washing detergent
6 cups water
3/4 cups white corn syrup

I used Dawn because it was available but you can use anything that is clear. (mine turned out blue)

Mix it all together and there ya have it!

We used all type of things to make it more interesting. We cut a water bottle in half and used the end to dip and the open part to blow into. that made good bubbles. We tried using the lid to a mason jar, but that didn't work like I thought it would. He has a lawnmower that blow bubbles. It never worked before but it actually did with this bubble solution.

Have you made your own bubbles lately?
