It was a hard day! I found out a few days ago that Josiah won't be going back to his teacher from last year. I wasn't sure how he would take the news, so as soon as I found out, I told him. I think he is okay with it.
Today he went in to meet his teacher. I forgot his name tag, BUT as I was walking up to the front of the building, I told my mom... They can't forget the name Josiah. The funny part about this is when we walked in, I told her we forgot his name tag, and she said " Let me guess, you are Josiah" Hahahaha Talk about funny.
She gave him a picture of a Bumble Bee (that is her class theme) to color and told him to walk to the shelf and find his name on coloring box. It took him a minute but as soon as she Showed him what his name began with, he found it right away!
He sat down and colored his bumble bee. He still has some learning to do as far as coloring inside the lines. Shoot, I can't even color in the lines. I ain't mad at him! LOL
Next we went on a scavenger hunt. She gave us stickers to mark when h e found everything in school. Since he knew where everything was, it was a breeze! He was actually showing me where they were. haha
When we were done, we went back to the classroom & gave Mrs. Hunt her Apple Mason Jar. You can check that out HERE. She loved it! I didn't get a picture because I had a million things in my hand but I hope he made a good impression on her and I hope she did on him too!!!
